Euro Shop, already successful for many years with their extensive network of physical stores, sought to be even closer to their customers. Setting up a webshop was therefore seen as an essential part of their growth strategy. To realize this ambition, they started talking to us and entrusted us with the task of developing a powerful and flexible webshop. Using Magento and customized modules that perfectly match Euro Shop's unique product range, together we created a solid online platform.
Strategic and technical guidance for Euro Shop
For Euro Shop, this was their first step into the world of e-commerce, a journey that involved both strategic and technical challenges. As their partner, we guided them step by step from the beginning and took care of everything.
One of the biggest technical issues was the integration of an API between the ERP system and Magento. This link had to function seamlessly so that all essential data - from stock updates to order processing - could be exchanged smoothly. In addition, Euro Shop wanted their customers to be able to check the availability of products in physical stores via the Web shop.
For a unique customer experience, we also developed customized configuration options so that visitors could customize certain products themselves. This required advanced customization, in which our team of experts proved their technical expertise.
In addition to the technical challenges, there was an important strategic task: helping the organization move from an offline to an online mindset. This included training in using the Magento back-end, converting informative catalog content into compelling e-commerce content, and supporting the team in embracing a digital mindset.
Thanks to this intensive collaboration, Euro Shop is all set with e-commerce, and well positioned to optimally combine their online and offline channels!
Pragmatic work: Phased approach!
The project started with a thorough technical analysis of Euro Shop's online needs and the possibilities within Magento. From this foundation, our UX designer created a modern, intuitive design that was not only user-friendly, but also technically feasible without an abundance of customization.
Then our technical experts went to work building, testing and optimizing the webshop. The result was a stable and efficient platform that fully met Euro Shop's needs. Moreover, we developed additional modules, including a tool to show offline store inventory and a configurator that allowed customers to personalize products themselves.
This project is a textbook example of how technical expertise and strategic guidance come together to create not just a web shop, but an entire e-commerce ecosystem.
