A future-proof webshop for Xandres: Stylish and functional!
Xandres' existing webshop was in need of a thorough update, both visually and functionally. The new webshop had to reflect the stylish look and high-quality customer experience of the physical stores. At the same time, the platform had to be built future-proof, with room for growth and expansion of functionalities. The project required a balanced approach: a strong focus on valuable features within the set budget, without compromising stability and quality.
Furthermore, due to various circumstances, it was also crucial to ensure a tight feedback cycle during development and a streamlined release approach to deliver the project on time and without technical hiccups!

PHPro and Xandres worked closely together through multiple scope sessions to clarify priorities. This approach made it possible to deliver maximum value with limited resources. Through a series of small releases, ten in total between August and September 2020, and seven additional releases the following month, a stable webshop was achieved. The short feedback cycle allowed both parties to make quick adjustments and fully optimize the platform.
After two months, the revamped webshop was running stably and fully meeting the needs of Xandres and its customers. The result: a modern platform that seamlessly matches the stylish look of the physical stores and is ready for the future.
