Orac Decor is a leading brand in the production of high quality decorative trim and architectural elements for interiors. The challenge: Bring together 11 websites, 19 storeviews ánd 14 languages for a seamless international experience
The challenge of this project was considerable: developing a solution for 11 different websites, 19 storeviews, and 14 languages for Orac Decor. This was our first experience with a project of this scale ánd a lot of international complexity. The goal was to automatically direct visitors to the most relevant store, tailored to their browser settings and geographic location. PHPro solved this by implementing a GeoIP redirect, allowing Orac Decor to serve their key international markets directly and effectively.
Optimal UX and efficiency with Adobe Commerce and customized content blocks
To optimize the user experience and visual appeal for both new and returning visitors, Orac Decor opted for customized content blocks. These content blocks enable the display of dynamic and relevant content, contributing to a seamless user experience.
Moreover, the central database of these content blocks allows Orac Decor employees to easily reuse elements for different purposes, saving time and resources.
We built the new webshop based on Magento 2 Commerce (Enterprise). The advanced functionalities of this platform were crucial to implement the extensive features and custom solutions of the new webshop.
Central product management with Akeneo and integration into Magento 2
For Orac Decor's immense webshop, Akeneo was deployed as their Product Information Management (PIM) system. This powerful platform enables Orac Decor to centrally and efficiently manage all their products and associated assets, such as technical documents and inspirational images.
The implementation was carried out in collaboration with our partner Induxx, who provided seamless synchronization between Akeneo and the Magento platform. Thanks to this integration, products and assets are updated automatically and error-free, minimizing time and errors.
With Akeneo, Orac Decor now has a user-friendly and centralized system that streamlines their product management and integrates perfectly with the webshop, providing an efficient and scalable solution.
